AQUA Exchange is a mobile-first social derivatives app built on Hyperliquid that turns complex on-chain trading into simple, one-tap decisions. As the co-founder, I am responsible for product ideation, UX design, front-end development, and brand marketing.
Vision
The derivatives market is massive, yet on-chain trading remains inaccessible to most people due to complex workflows, intimidating interfaces, and steep learning curves. AQUA was created to bridge this gap — making on-chain perpetual trading easy to start and easy to use for everyone.
What We Offer
AQUA supports full on-chain derivatives trading across Hyperliquid/HIP-3 — crypto, tokenized stocks, metals, gaming assets, and more — with all the essential exchange capabilities including real-time charts, order management, position tracking, and market data. Users can follow and copy celebrity traders or AI agent strategies with one tap, access Hyperliquid Vaults for managed trading strategies, and earn rewards through a built-in referral system with points and commission rebates. The mobile-first design features fiat on-ramps and a social-login, no-mnemonic wallet for secure, low-friction trading.
My Role
As the co-founder, I am responsible for:
- Product Ideation — Defining the product vision and exploring creative directions for on-chain trading experiences
- Feature Definition — Scoping and prioritizing features across trading, social, and onboarding flows
- UX Design — Designing the end-to-end user experience, from information architecture to interaction details
- Front-end Development — Building key front-end components and pages
- Brand & Marketing — Creating the AQUA brand system and driving marketing strategies
